MyShop (“we”, “us”, the “app”) helps sellers turn product photos into
catalogues they can share. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
By using MyShop you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Phone number — to create your account and sign you in securely via one-time
password (OTP).
- Content you add — product photos, names, descriptions, prices, catalogue
details, and any shop/profile information (shop name, logo, contact details, business
story) you enter.
- Device & usage data — app version, device model, operating-system version,
language, and in-app actions/crash diagnostics, used to keep the app working and improve
it.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: sign-in, generating product details, building catalogues, and
creating shareable catalogue links and PDFs.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.
- To communicate with you about your account or important changes.
When information is shared
Catalogues you choose to publish are made available through a public link that you create
and share (for example over WhatsApp). Anyone with that link can view that catalogue. You
control which catalogues are shared. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run the app; they process data only to provide their
service to us:
- Google Firebase — phone-number authentication (OTP).
- MongoDB Atlas — secure database storage of your account and catalogue data.
- Cloudinary — hosting and delivery of product images.
- Mixpanel — privacy-aware analytics and crash diagnostics.
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement. The Android app shares your
device's advertising ID and app events (such as install, sign-up, and first
catalogue created) with Meta so we can measure and improve our advertising.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID anytime in Android Settings →
Privacy → Ads.
- Google (Gemini) — when enabled, product photos may be processed to auto-write
product names and descriptions.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account
and associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below; we will delete it
within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited information to meet legal
obligations.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our service
providers using industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is
100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
MyShop is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to
children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a
new “Last updated” date.
